'BREAKFAST AT SALLY's AUTHOR AT LIBRARY
His business failed, his wife left him, his children disowned him and he became homeless, living out of his van with his little dog. This may be an increasingly familiar story, but Richard LeMieux lived it here in Kitsap County. In “Breakfast at Sally’s,” he tells the story of his descent into homelessness, his struggle to survive, and the stories of others in the homeless community.
LeMieux relays their despair and hope, their adventures and misadventures, and along the way, chronicles his journey to finding a new peace and a new life for himself.
He will be at the downtown bremerton Branch to talk about and sign copies of his book.
Time: 1 p.m.
Cost: Free.
Place: 612 Fifth St.
